Unfortunately, horses are very susceptible to West Nile virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis - both spread by mosquitoes.  Within 41 states in 2006 there were 1,086 horses infected with West Nile virus and 111 with Eastern Equine Encephalitis. With a high mortality rate, EEE is considered to be one of the most serious mosquito-borne diseases.

PMC offers outdoor pest control programs for stables and boarding facilities. The control products used will reduce mosquitoes, flies, and ticks. Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly service is available. If you choose to manage your own fly and mosquito control program, we will help you choose the products and equipment. This will reduce these nuisance and disease-carrying insects and to help keep your animals happy and healthy.
